One More Sleep A musicians wife and daughter hoping to make dad feel a little bit closer to home!

I like the idea of putting things into terms kids can understand. When I was coaching gymnastics one of the girls would ask “How many cartoons until the end of class?” So when an aquantance told us they tell their kids “one more sleep” till mom or dad gets home, I thought it was perfect.

I am the wife of a wonderful musician who works full time. His job puts him away from home about 5 days/week on average. It has taken some time to get used to this type of family dynamic… who am I kidding, we are still trying to figure it out. I work a full time job at a wonderful company, Griffin Technology, and take care of our beautiful daughter.

My hopes for this blog is to document the daily hum drum of a musicians wife and daughter, in hopes of making dad feel a little bit closer to home!
